We're JMT Sanitation — your locally owned trash and waste hauler serving all of Emmet County, Michigan. From Harbor Springs to Petoskey, Brutus to Cross Village, and every road in between — if you're in Emmet County, you're on a JMT route. This is the first post on our new news page, and we wanted to start with a welcome.

The team

JMT is run by Joey, Molly, and Tim — three of us covering the routes, the office, and the phones. We pick up the trash, we answer when you call, and we know every road on our route by heart.

What we do

Residential trash pickup — Weekly curbside garbage tote service for every town in Emmet County. Same driver, same day.
Business trash pickup — Custom-frequency commercial pickup for restaurants, shops, and offices.
Pink Bags — Pay-as-you-throw trash bags sold at 10 local retailers across Emmet County. Perfect for cottages and seasonal homes.
Bulk garbage pickup — Furniture, appliances, extra bags. Priced by the cubic yard, added to your regular route.

A new look, rolled out over time

You'll start seeing JMT's new branding across the fleet over the next few months. Trucks will be repainted, totes will get new logos, and Pink Bags will be reprinted with the new mark. Don't be surprised if you see old and new at the same time — the rollout is gradual.

We're online for real now

A new Google Business Profile — so when neighbors anywhere in Emmet County search Google for trash pickup, JMT shows up where it should. Find us on Google.
This news page — the first stop for route, schedule, and service updates going forward.
